Welcome to Radhanagr Govt. PTTI , a milestone of academic excellence and co-curricular and extra- curricular performances which is situated in Radhanagar,Howrah . This instituite was established on 16th October,1968 under West Bengal vide G.O Number 1087-EDN(P) ,dated: 16.10.1968 . The Institute is affiliated by West Bengal Board of Primary Education and recognized by National Council of Teacher Education. Formerly it was named as “Radhanagr Junior Basic Training Institute” but by the order of Director of School Education,W.B vide memo no -911/Sc/P, dt-8/4/1991 it is named as “Radhanagr Teachers Training Institution” .Our primary teachers training college is dedicated to equipping aspiring educators with the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to excel in the field of primary education. We understand the vital role that teachers play in shaping young minds and believe in providing a comprehensive and dynamic training program to empower our students. Within 1.63 acres of beautiful campus there has academic building, boys hostel, teachers quarters, play ground, kitchen garden, flower gardens, open theater stage ,others amenities facilities. The Curriculum set by WBBPE cover all aspects of primary education, including pedagogical techniques, subject knowledge, classroom management, and child development. We believe in a holistic approach to teaching, incorporating both theoretical and practical components. Our students engage in hands-on practicum placements, allowing them to apply their learning in real classroom settings under the guidance of experienced mentors. We recognize the importance of embracing technology in the classroom and preparing our students for the digital age. Our college is equipped with modern facilities and resources to facilitate effective learning, including interactive smart boards, multimedia classrooms, and a well-stocked library.
